Admission Requirements
Diploma
Applicants for a Diploma course should have a mean grade of C- (minus) in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) or its equivalent, along with demonstrated artistic talent. Applicants who merit consideration will be called for an interview before final selection.
Certificate
Applicants for a Certificate course should have a mean grade of D (plain) in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) or its equivalent, along with demonstrated artistic talent. Applicants who merit consideration will be called for an interview before final selection.
Admission Process
1. Application
Complete your BIFA application for admission by visiting our institution in person, or by filling in the online Application Form. Please submit only one application.
2. Attend an interview
Interview dates are communicated in advance. Bring the following: original and copy of KCSE result slip; original and copy of ID or passport; original and copy of birth certificate; original and copies of School Leaving Certificate; a transfer letter if you attended more than one secondary school; a portfolio of your previous artwork; and a pencil and pen. A non-refundable interview fee of Ksh. 1,000 applies.
3. Receive admission letter
Successful applicants are issued with an admission letter.
4. Registration
Successful applicants are issued with admission numbers. See Fee Structure below for cost details.
5. New student orientation
