Buruburu Catholic Institute of Fine Arts (BIFA) is a Technical and Vocational Training College (TVC) under the Archdiocese of Nairobi, adapting the ethos of Catholic Education and tradition. It was established in 1991 by the development committee of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church – Buruburu under the leadership of the late Fr. Thomas Burke and opened its doors in 1993 with the first intake of 60 students pursuing different disciplines in art and design.
The college aims at promoting holistic growth of its trainees through teaching of Christian values, character formation and academic excellence in visual arts and design.
The college is accredited by TVETA and offers training in Fashion design, Graphic design, Interior design and drawing and painting/Fine Arts both at Certificate and Diploma Levels.
The Examination Bodies are Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) and TVET-CDACC
